Natura Bona's Goldenrod Essential Oil
The Goldenrod plant (Solidago Canadensis) is native to North America having long branches and bright yellow flowers as it ascends. Natura Bona Organic Goldenrod essential oil is steamed distilled from the plant flower with a colorless grassy, bitter-sweet citric and pleasant earthy scent. This is a 100% pure essential oil; make sure to dilute in a carrier oil like coconut or sweet almond before using.
Goldenrod contains various flavonoids and saponins and has many beneficial therapeutic properties including antifungal, anti-inflammatory, circulatory, blood flow, diuretic, carminative and expectorant properties. Goldenrod has also been used to help with ED problems.
For allergies you can inhale from the bottle or putting a few drops on a handkerchief and breathing in. You can also add 3-5 or so drops to hot water and breathe in the vapors.
Dilute with coconut, jojoba, sweet almond or avocado oil and massage to aching muscles or joints. You can also diffuse the oil to reap the benefits. Goldenro oil blends well with ylang ylang, juniper, lavender, bergamot, clary sage. rosemary, rose and orange essential oils.
