Chamomile Roman (Anthemis nobilis L, also known as Chamaemelum nobile), originated in the United Kingdom. The oil is steam distilled from the Chamomile flower with a light bluish to yellow liquid color. The relaxing aroma of this essential oil is sometimes described as like 'apples and straw'; an exotic and rich scent. The Anthemis nobilis L oil is commonly accepted as the best smelling of the Chamomiles having a calming, soothing, and relaxing properties.
